DRAWING STUDIO 2 CLASS PORTFOLIO
This was a semester long class I took during the Fall 2021 Semester at the University of Pittsburgh. The course focused on utilizing our technical drawing skills to explore creative and open-ended prompts intending to challenge our perceptions of observation and standard drawing conventions. In class exercises focused on observational drawing using colored pencil, ink, and graphite as well as unconventional materials like charcoal taped to the end of 4 foot sticks. Observational subjects for this class ranged from flora to statues to live models (live models are not included in this portfolio). This portfolio primarily contains outside-of-class projects as well as some in-class observational assignments. Each assignment took roughly 6-20 hours to complete over a 2-3 week period (depending on the assignment).

Background:
This piece illustrates my experiences and reflections during my undergrad years in the form of a story inspired by Oh, the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss. It serves as an acknowledgement of all the memories made at Pitt as well as a call to action for myself moving forward in my life and career.
